UMPIRE/REFEREE CLINIC – JULY 18/26
Today, Grand Master Christopher Gantner conducted an Umpire and Referee Clinic in the Bronx, New York City, USA. The black belt participants ranged from 1st to 4th degree. Color belts were also included because understanding the rules helps them become better competitors and prepares them to judge once they reach black belt. There was no charge for this training because these participants will eventually volunteer their time at future championships. GM Gantner is the GTF Technical Chairman and the participants received the highest level of technical training to develop the knowledge and skills enabling them to fairly judge competitors at events
