Christopher Park

Christopher Park has been immersed in Taekwon-Do and the Global Taekwondo Federation since infancy. As the son of Founder Grand Master Park Jung Tae, he travelled extensively with his father throughout the international Taekwon-Do community, experiencing firsthand the growth of GTF and the development of Taekwon-Do across multiple countries and cultures.

Training directly under Grand Master Park Jung Tae, Christopher earned his 1st Dan in 1994 and his 2nd Dan in 1998. He later continued his development under Grand Master Christopher Gantner, earning his advanced ranks while remaining actively involved in international GTF events and activities.

In 2001, Christopher was selected as a member of the Korea Demonstration Team, travelling to South Korea under the leadership of Grand Master Park Jung Tae to promote the Global Taekwondo Federation through demonstrations and cultural exchange.

Following the passing of Grand Master Park Jung Tae in 2002, Christopher remained committed to preserving and advancing his father’s legacy. He continued training with senior GTF instructors while supporting federation activities internationally through instruction, judging, event support, and organizational development.

Today, Christopher serves as Vice President of the Global Taekwondo Federation. In addition to his federation responsibilities, he is a partner in the Jook-Am Legacy Project, an initiative dedicated to preserving the historical archives, publications, photographs, and educational resources relating to Founder Grand Master Park Jung Tae and the Global Taekwondo Federation. Through this work, he continues to support the long-term preservation of the federation’s history and the teachings of its founder for future generations.

Christopher later lived in Northern Cyprus while pursuing studies in Sport Management, where he trained and taught periodically within the GTF organization under Senior Grand Master Eyup Zafer Gokbilen. Over the years he has participated in GTF seminars, championships, and organizational activities throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Today, Christopher continues to support the mission of the Global Taekwondo Federation and the ongoing preservation of the legacy of Founder Grand Master Park Jung Tae through his work with both GTF and the Jook-Am Legacy Project.
